Background

Dr. Neena Joy is a New Jersey-raised emergency medicine physician who cares for adults and children presenting with acute, undifferentiated, and life-threatening conditions across the greater New York metropolitan region. A native of River Edge, New Jersey, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Bonaventure University in 2016 and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Erie campus, in 2021. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Atlantic Health System's Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey, a Level 1 Trauma Center serving roughly 100,000 emergency department visits annually with affiliated pediatric and intensive care services through Goryeb Children's Hospital, where she also held leadership roles on the residency's Social Medicine, Recruitment, and Education committees. Dr. Joy holds board certification in Emergency Medicine and currently maintains hospital affiliations with Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York and Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York, with clinical interests spanning social and community emergency medicine, patient wellness, and resident education. At Lotus Health, she contributes acute care and osteopathic-informed perspectives to clinician-in-the-loop oversight of AI-supported workflows and evidence-based emergency, urgent, and primary care quality.
