Dr. Sacha Isabel Duchicela is a board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physician practicing in the New York metropolitan area, where she cares for infants, children, and adolescents presenting with acute, undifferentiated, and life-threatening conditions. She earned a B.A. from Baylor University in 2004 and her MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2008, completed pediatrics residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell at Cohen Children's Medical Center in 2011, and finished a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2014. She is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and maintains an active New York State medical license. Dr. Duchicela serves on the pediatric emergency medicine faculty at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in Flushing and is also affiliated with Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, with an academic appointment as Clinical Instructor in Emergency Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College.
